Air-tastic, situated in the Kennedy Centre, Is basically like Soft Play on steroids, the land of a thousand trampolines.  The  Facility is immaculately set out and looks fantastic from the minute you enter, check-in and safety announcements are easy and swift. We did book online which made it a bit quicker, and meant we could put all the info in before we got there.

Although the kids do look a little bored as they go through the myriad of safety information, they do pick up a bit when the video section is shown and by the end pick up enough to stop them doing anything too daft once in.  The place is littered with safety wardens who make sure that play is being done in as safe a way as possible, and a strict 3-strikes-you’re-out system means anyone being too unruly won’t be there long enough to spoil the fun.  The main arena is filled with trampolines at different angles, a stunt-man style drop area, a ninja style assaults course and a kind of a soft play area with slides that spit you out at a height into a pit of foam cubes. Whilst the main area is for kids 5 and up, there’s a smaller area for the 3-4-year-olds with 6 trampolines and a mini-jump/drop with foam cubes.  We took a 3, 4 and 7 year old and all came back red-faced and sweaty after an hour of intense play.  For the adults, there’s a café area and for the under 3’s there’s even a soft play area upstairs that they can play in whilst you overlook the park, so I’s say kids of any age will find something here to keep them amused. I don’t believe there’s an upper limit on age either so if feeling flexible bounce on in!

Prices for 1 hour:

Main arena – £9.95

Toddlers – £5

All jumpers also require Air-tastic socks which are £1.50 but can be re-used on subsequent visits.
