Netflix are bringing us Kurt Russell as Santa for our Christmas viewing pleasure. Here’s the trailer for a potentially great addition to the yearly recycling of Christmas movies. 

 

Disney’s Aladdin

Have you ever wondered if Will Smith would make a great Genie? Regardless as to how much time you’ve put aside on this question before, you’ll soon have an answer. Guy Ritchie’s been left in charge of Disney’s live action Aladdin and we’ve got our fist teaser. The cast also includes Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, Marwan Zenzari as Jafar. No word on Gilbert Gottfried then…..

Winter Soldier and the Falcon

A lot’s been happening with Marvel’s TV output lately. It’s been reported that Iron Fist and Luke Cage have both been cancelled on Netflix. Cancelled sounds worse than not renewed. Either way, those shows are gone. And in my opinion the better ones are still here. Daredevil and Jessica Jones. No word on The Punisher yet.

The big news though is that Disney’s long mooted streaming service will feature a new live action Loki show as well as a new Winter Soldier/ Falcon show. It’s expected that Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie will reprise their roles from the MCU.

Disney’s streaming service is expected to launch in late 2019.
