We did it, you guys. We finally came first in something!
Surprisingly a UK-wide survey by Asda has announced that 17% of those surveyed (the majority) chose our very own Northern Ireland accent as the sexiest around. Thanks to Jamie Dornan, Liam Neeson and a variety of other local celebrities we’re top of the polls for sex appeal, so you can stop cringing and start celebrating when you see a fellow Norn Iron-er on TV.
However, the Scottish came a close second (15% of votes), with the likes of Ewan McGregor, David Tennant and Gerard Butler’s dulcet tones, although we think this may have less to do with their accents and more to do with their stunning good looks.
