The story goes like this… last week newly launched NI parody site The Ulster Fry (which has as much to do with Ulster Frys as we have to do with Pastiebaps) put up a (fake) story about a Crisp Sandwich cafe ‘Simply Crispy’ opening in belfast. A kind of take on the whole Cereal Cafe thing, incase you need me to explain humour to you 😉 It was well written, hilarious and bang on point. Everyone else thought so too as it quickly went viral.
In amongst all the madness of Likes and Shares the recently re-located ‘that wee cafe‘ took up the gauntlet and decided to make this thing a reality and so this monday ‘Simply Crispy’ opens it’s doors at 8 bedford street to the worlds first Crisp Sammich Emporium! Now shall I have Monster Munch on Rye or Plain on Batch?
