1.August Féile

Ireland’s largest community festival plays host to headlining music from home and abroad, plus a diverse range of dance, literature, drama, exhibitions, family fun, sports events, tours and walks, discussions and debates and Irish language events. The final weekend of the festival sees the headliners Kaiser Chiefs perform.

2.Dirty Dancing

29 July – 16 August

Dirty Dancing – the classic story on stage is an unprecedented live experience, exploding with heart-pounding music, passionate romance and dancing.

3.Belfast City of Rhythms Show

1 August – 8 September
Hastings Europa Hotel

Described by its producers as an “all singing, all dancing show delivering the Heart & Soul of Northern Ireland” the show is a seven-cast production of modern and traditional story-telling, music and dance.

4.One Love Festival

9 – 16 August
Various venues in Belfast

Belfast comes alive from 9th – 16th August 2014 with the taste, music and culture of the Caribbean, courtesy of the One Love Festival.  Festival highlights include One Love – The Musical at The MAC inspired by the music of Bob Marley and a Caribbean Music Event at the Black Box.
