New movie selection on Netflix is a bit…well it’s a bit crap this week. There’s a horror movie that looks a bit interesting but only fares marginally well on IMDB and that’s ‘Dark Summer‘, but I haven’t seen it so I can’t exactly recommend it. So what I will recommend is the new spanish language Netflix original series ‘NARCOS’. I’ve only watched the first episode but it already has me hooked, I’m not a big one for binge watching, but a quick check on IMDB sees it score a whopping 9.3 out of 10!

Yes, yes, it has subtitles, but as we keep saying ‘Global Is Local’ and unless we learn to speak other languages (not gonna happen), and they keep making awesome films and TV that aren’t in English, then we need to start embracing this stuff. It also makes watching with a sleeping baby easy as peas, anyway if you like a gritty true story that’s tense as hell then this is your guy.
