This isn’t the first time that we’ve featured up and coming singer-songwriter Rebekah Fitch on this website, and it sure as hell won’t be the last. Following Stroke of Genius, and Here We Go, Afraid of the Light is Fitch’s third single, and arguably, her best.

Based on the idea that many people are comfortable living their own life without looking into anything more. Are we afraid of what the light will expose?  Are we afraid of the truth? We would rather go on living in the “dark”, where it is safe and no big questions are asked. ‘Afraid of the Light’ is an encouragement, daring people to take the risk, to ask questions and have a look for themselves – what is life really about? You could find something so much greater than you ever imagined.

Mirroring every ounce of passion, talent and catchiness that her previous two singles possess, Afraid of the Light brings a more mature, sophisticated and dare we say it…dark vibe to Fitch’s standout style. Have a listen, watch the video and if you like what you hear? Follow her on Facebook or Soundcloud for more great music.
