The latest in a string of films being shot in Northern Ireland, Dracula Untold is an action packed reimagining of the origins of Dracula, mixing vampire mythology with the true story of Vlad the Impaler. Yet despite, being entirely filmed on location in Northern Ireland and receiving £1.6m from Northern Ireland Screen, Belfast was left out when it came to premiering the film this weekend.

Universal Pictures have backed official premieres in both London and Dublin, but Belfast seems to have been left out. Instead, some of the extras in the film have organised their own screening tonight at the Odyssey Cinema. The screening is sold out and is accompanied by a special charity auction at Box nightclub.
