Let the Ulster Orchestra transport you from the Waterfront Hall to Westeros, Middle Earth and beyond, with this magical concert on Saturday 26 October. Ian McElhinney (Game of Thrones, the Star Wars series and Derry Girls) is your host for a night of fantastic music from the worlds of TV, film and gaming.

Stephen Bell conducts the Ulster Orchestra for a programme of all your favourite fantasy themes, from Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars to Game of Thrones and Pirates of the Caribbean. Superhero fans can hear the classic themes from Spider-Man and Batman, while gamers can thrill to the scores for Halo, World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy.

We’re thrilled to welcome local legend Ian McElhinney as the presenter for the night. One of Northern Ireland’s best-known actors, Ian played Ser Barristan Selmy in Game of Thrones for five seasons, as well as appearing in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Derry Girls.

With the power of the full Ulster Orchestra, Worlds of Fantasy is a widescreen celebration of some of the finest soundtracks of the past 40 years!
