“…Long Gone One delivers unexpected surprises with its delightful Delilah piano jauntiness & Tom Waits weirdness. Higgins certainly delivers.”
– John McGurk, Sunday Life

Belfast-based singer/songwriter Damian Higgins will release his 2nd single, ‘Long Gone One’ on Friday 11th October. It will be available on iTunes & Spotify and will have a live launch in The Sunflower Bar, Belfast.

The song – A catchy Tom Waitsian dirge with jaunty piano and sparkling electric guitar, a man reflects on his life from the beyond.

Damian left his office job at the end of 2017 to pursue music full-time and is now working on his first album as a solo artist. He plays regularly in bars all over Belfast. While frontman for rock band Tempest Fugitives, they recorded an EP, won the Jaegermeister Battle of the Bands, played Sunflower Festival and opened up for Simon McBride at the Belfast Blues Festival.

The single was recorded by Niall Doran in Start Together studios, Oh Yeah Centre. The unusual music video was directed by Aaron Kyle and was filmed on & around the River Lagan.
