NI is awash with celebrity sightings these days, from Robert Pattinson and Charlie Hunnam taking a stroll through Victoria Square, to Kim Cattral being spotted at a Van Morrison gig, and now the bar has been raised even higher.

The Lost City of ZFilming for Brad Pitt’s latest movie The Lost City of Z is continuing filming across our fair land, including scenes in East Belfast, Ballintoy and Greyabbey. Although Brad Pitt doesn’t star in the movie itself, his production company Plan B Entertainment is producing the adaptation of David Grann’s best selling book and it does feature a bevy of Hollywood stars: Robert Pattinson, Charlie Hunnam, Sienna Miller and Tom Holland are all on track to film here in NI in the coming weeks before moving on to Colombia in October.

Next up on the film’s location list is just west of Larne, following in the footsteps of Game of Thrones who have just shot scenes for the latest series there.

The film is planned for release in 2016 and tells the story of British explorer Percy Fawcett who disappeared in the Amazon in 1925 while looking for a mysterious lost city. Interesting, huh?
