In many ways the Yellow Fever Independent Film Festival (YFIFF) is one of NI’s best kept movie secrets.  Having been to previous YFIFF’s and thoroughly enjoyed myself I can attest that the chances are you will enjoy this little gem of a film festival.  The festival has been refined over the years too and finds itself this year, after being postponed last year, at the Movie House Dublin Rd – a perfect venue for such a festival.  There’s a mix of features, shorts, live demos, talks with movie makers and I’d say you’d be hard pressed to not find something to enjoy (unless you’re my Mum who doesn’t like films at all, the weirdo)  Also of note is that all films are £1 or £20 for the entire weekend, that’s a bargain I have to say.  Anyway, check them out online (I find their twitter to be the best way) and tickets are available here too!

YFIFFIn the interests of full disclosure, I have a film that is showing as part of this film festival. It’s that little bad boy called ‘6 Shooter’ and ,full disclosure again, you should check it out!
