This week is a bit special because I haven’t actually seen my pick. No-one has, not yet anyway, because the film isn’t actually out yet.  You see on the 16th Oct Netflix release their first original full length film and it’s the Idris Elba starring ‘Beasts Of No Nation’.  It comes highly recommended by those that have seen it, I mean just take a look at that trailer it looks like powerful stuff. Also Idris Elba is always awesome in my experience so I’d be watching it if even only for him.  So I guess we’ll tune in this friday and see what all the fuss is about, and hopefully this is the start of many more Netflix original films to come.

When civil war tears his family apart, a young West African boy is forced to join a unit of mercenary fighters and transform into a child soldier.

BONUS MATERIAL

Want something to watch now? How about ‘ What We Do In The Shadows’ it’s basically a funny vampire film written and directed by one half of the Flight Of The Conchords – Jemaine Clement, so if you like them chances are you’ll like this.  It’s stupid and funny, so the exact opposite of ‘Beasts Of No Nation’.
