Disclaimer: I haven’t actually seen this one, but there’s something called Kung Fury which is new to Netflix UK this week and it looks amazing. From what I can tell, this is a 30 minute short which was funded by a Kickstarter campaign and it basically contains everything that was great about the 80s.  Here’s the synopsis:

During an unfortunate series of events a friend of Kung Fury is assassinated by the most dangerous kung fu master criminal of all time; Adolf Hitler, a.k.a Kung Führer. Kung Fury decides to travel back in time, to Nazi Germany, in order to kill Hitler and end the Nazi empire once and for all.

As if that wasn’t enough, here’s an article about why Kung Fury ‘was the most awesome project in Cannes’. Also, just look at that cover:

BONUS CONTENT

We here at PastieBap.com know you love whiling away the hours watching whatever Netflix has to offer. We also know that there’s nothing better than finding a great tv series to watch so you don’t have to leave the house or interact with people for a few weeks. That’s why, this week we’re bringing you a bonus content TV show special.

If you’re looking for something to keep you busy for a while, all four seasons of American Horror Story are now available to watch on UK Netflix, including the last instalment AHS: Freak Show. Now, to be totally honest, this isn’t the strongest season of the franchise, but with the fifth season AHS: Hotel airing on FOX right now, it’s good to have yourself all caught up on the spooky goings on. (If you haven’t started watching American Horror Story yet and are on a time budget, I’d recommend watching Murder House and Coven, skipping out on Asylum and Freak Show if needs be.)

In other TV show news, Shonda Rhimes off of Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy (aka the greatest tv show ever made) fare brings her latest offering How To Get Away With Murder to the Netflix catalogue for your viewing pleasure. The series centres on a professor who teaches a class called How To Get Away With Murder (of course) and her students as they become embroiled in a murder plot of their own. Or, if you’re a fan of Netflix original Hemlock Grove the third season is now available to watch as well. Happy hibernating!
